Pancham Engineering Works

Pancham Engineering Works is tucked away in the Asha Usha Compound, which is part of Mehra Estate. We are at A-3, right off L.B.S. Marg in Vikhroli West. It’s a loud area because of all the other workshops and the traffic on the main road. Our place is full of machines and the smell of metal and grease. It’s not a clean office by any means. We have grease stains on the floor and old calendars on the walls. We spend our days cutting, welding, and fixing things that people bring to us. We’ve been in this compound for years and we know all the other shop owners around here. Sometimes we borrow tools from each other. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know our name or see the sign on the gate. We wear work clothes that are usually covered in dust by noon. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger, but most of the work happens on the shop floor. It gets really hot in there during the summer months, but we have a few big industrial fans to keep the air moving. We don't do fancy marketing. If someone needs a part made or a machine repaired, they come see us. We just do the job as best as we can with what we have. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We hope to stay here for many more years.
