Panchal Engineering Works

Down here at K/74 in the Sonal Heavy Industrial Estate, things stay pretty loud most of the time. This is where Panchal Engineering Works is based. If you walk down Ramchandra Lane in Malad West, you can probably hear the machines running before you even see the door. We have been working with metal and parts for a long time now. It is a greasy job and our hands are rarely clean at the end of the day. We don't have a fancy showroom or a front desk with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the lathes or the milling machines. We spend most of the morning setting up the jobs and the rest of the day making sure the cuts are right. Sometimes the electricity goes out or a tool breaks, and that sets us back, but that’s just how it goes in a workshop. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought recently. People around here know us for just getting the work done. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. The floor is covered in metal shavings by noon every day. We sweep up, go home, and do it again the next morning. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We like the neighborhood even if it gets crowded with trucks and delivery vans all the time.
