Palimar Engineering Industries

You can find our workshop at Mistry Industri. We are on the first floor at unit 64. It’s pretty close to the Tunga International Hotel in Andheri East. Most people know the area because it’s so busy. We’ve been doing engineering work here for quite a while. The building isn't brand new, but it’s sturdy enough for the machines we use. It gets loud during the day with all the metalwork and engines running. We have a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just like making things and fixing parts. The stairs up to the first floor are narrow, so we have to be careful when moving materials. It’s a lot of grease and metal shavings. That’s just part of the life. Sometimes we have tea at the stall down the street when the power goes out or we need a break. Customers come in with their blueprints or old parts that need copying. We look at them, tell them what’s possible, and get to it. Andheri is always crowded, so getting here takes some time in the evenings. But we like the location. It's central for our suppliers. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day, in our little corner of the estate. The work is steady and we stay focused on the tasks on our benches.
