The team here at Padmasiddh Developers Private Limited works out of the seventh floor in Mahalaxmi. We are located in Lodha Excelus, which is inside the old Apollo Mills Compound on N.M. Joshi Marg. It’s a well-known spot, but inside our office, it’s just a normal workspace with people trying to get things done. We focus on development projects across the city. Mahalaxmi is a great area, though the traffic on N.M. Joshi Marg can be a nightmare during rush hour. We spend a lot of our time looking at site plans and talking to engineers. There are no fancy speeches here about the future of the city; we are more concerned with today’s deadlines and making sure the supplies show up on time. The office is usually humming with the sound of fans and people talking. It’s a professional enough environment, but we don't stand on ceremony. If you walked in, you’d probably find someone arguing over a blueprint or checking their emails for the tenth time. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy to look out the window much. Development is a tough business with a lot of moving parts, and we just try to keep everything balanced as best as we can. It’s been our base for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of life in this part of Mumbai.
