Padam Travels

You can find us at Room No G 5 in the Navaprabhat Building, which is located in Vile Parle East. The area is also known around Thergaon and Dange Chowk. We are actually right next to the Greater Bombay Co Operative Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people where we are. Our office is a small room on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to step in and ask about bus timings or car rentals. At Padam Travels, we have a couple of desks and a lot of registers where we write down the bookings. The phone rings pretty often, and someone is usually talking to a driver or a passenger. Vile Parle East is a busy part of the city, and being near Dange Chowk means there is always a lot of activity outside our door. The Navaprabhat Building is an older structure, but it’s sturdy and keeps us dry during the monsoon. We don't have a big waiting lounge, just a few plastic chairs for anyone who needs to sit for a minute. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the main door open to let the air circulate. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the people at the bank next door are our friends. It is a straightforward travel office where we deal with tickets and routes every day without any extra fuss or complicated computer systems.
