We are located over in Dharavi, sharing space with the Honest Barell Company. Our spot is near Dam Dharavi and is right across from the ONGC 11 High building. It is a very industrial part of the city, and you can always hear the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We have been operating from this location for a long time, and we have seen the whole area grow up around us. The office is simple and doesn't have any of the modern bells and whistles you see in the new parts of Mumbai. We mostly deal with old-school business methods, using ledgers and talking to people face to face. It can be quite dusty and loud here, but that is just the nature of Dharavi. We have a good relationship with the other companies nearby, and we often share tea in the afternoons. The location is good for us because it is central, even if the traffic near the ONGC building can be a nightmare sometimes. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. We just rely on the fact that we have been here for years and people know where to find us. It is a no-nonsense kind of place where we just get our daily tasks done and go home. Sometimes we stay a bit later to catch up on paperwork when the area finally gets quiet. It has been our home for years, and we don't plan on moving anytime soon.
