P S Paint House

We are located at Shop Number 5 in Santacruz Mansion, which is right in the heart of Santacruz East. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Syndicate Bank on the main road. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with cans of paint in every color you can imagine. There is that distinct smell of fresh paint and spirits that hits you as soon as you walk through the door. We have been here for a while, helping locals figure out exactly what shade of white or yellow they need for their living room walls. It is a lot of opening metal lids, stirring up samples, and showing people how the color looks under different types of lights. We also keep a good stock of brushes, rollers, and sandpaper because you cannot really do the job right without them. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack the tins carefully to make sure nothing tips over. Usually, it is quite busy in the mornings when the local painters come in to pick up supplies for their day’s work. We know most of the regulars and we spend some time chatting about the weather or how the local area is changing. Sometimes a customer brings in a tiny flake of old paint and asks us to match it perfectly, which can take a bit of trial and error with the pigments. It is a messy job sometimes, but we like being the place where people come to get things done.
