P R J Engineering

We have been set up at Malad Khand Bazar on Varachha Road for a good while now. Being at number 15, we are right in the middle of all the daily activity that happens in this part of town. P R J Engineering isn't a fancy place with carpets or air conditioning. It is more of a practical workshop where we actually get our hands dirty every single day. The machines start humming pretty early in the morning and they don't really stop until it is time to go home. It gets quite loud sometimes, and there is usually a bit of a metallic smell in the air, but that is just part of the job. People come by all the time to ask about different parts or to see how their work is progressing. The floor is concrete and often has a bit of oil or dust on it. We try to keep things organized, but when you have several projects going on at once, the tools tend to end up all over the place. Varachha Road is always crowded with traffic and people, so there is never a quiet moment outside our door. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing what we do. It is a simple space, mostly just for working. We don't have a big waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand near the entrance or come right into the back where the work happens. It keeps us busy.
