P & O has been operating in Mumbai for a long time. Our office is in the 400 022 postal code area of Maharashtra. It’s a busy place with a lot of history in shipping and logistics. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk here. Most of our day is spent looking at shipping manifests and talking to people at the docks. It’s a lot of coordination. The office is usually filled with the sound of printers and people discussing schedules. We have been part of the Mumbai maritime scene for years. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when ships are coming in or leaving. We don't really have a "vision" or anything like that. We just make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go. The people working here are locals who understand how the ports work. We’ve seen the industry change quite a bit, but the basics stay the same. You need to be organized and you need to be on time. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass building. We are just a team in a standard office doing what needs to be done. Mumbai is the heart of shipping in India, and we are right there in the middle of it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do.
