Oven Pick

We’ve been here in Kandivali East for a bit now, right in Thakur Village. It’s a busy place with people always walking around, but our spot, Oven Pick, is where things stay pretty grounded. I started this because I just liked the idea of a local place where you could get something fresh without a whole lot of fuss. Most days, it’s just us doing the same routines, making sure the ovens are ready and the shelves have what they need. We aren't trying to be one of those fancy chains you see in the big malls. It’s just a shop. You walk in, you see what we have on the counter, and that’s about it. Some mornings it gets a bit crowded when everyone is heading to work, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock on the wall. We know most of the people who come in by their first names or at least their usual orders. It feels right being part of the neighborhood like this. Sometimes we run out of things early, or the weather makes everything feel a bit slow, but that is just how it goes when you run a small business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of others keeping things moving along.
