We’ve been here at the Bbc Market for quite a while now. It’s a small spot, number 56/4, right in the middle of Shantiniketan. Most days start pretty early because that’s when the fresh stuff comes in. We mostly just deal with whatever is in season. If you walk past, you’ll see us trimming stems or trying to keep things cool when it gets hot outside. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we put bouquets together for people in the neighborhood. Some folks come in for a single rose, others want a big bunch for a wedding or something. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us working the counter and making sure the water in the vases stays clean. Shantiniketan is a nice area to work in, and the market stays busy enough to keep us on our toes. Sometimes we run out of specific colors by the afternoon, but that’s just how it goes with fresh plants. We try to keep things simple here. No big frills or complicated orders, just flowers. If you're looking for us, we are tucked inside the market near the other stalls. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we make it work. Most of our regulars know us by name by now. We just do our job and go home.
