Only Egg

Our shop is number 3 in Sattadhar Nagar, over in Chakala. It’s a small place, really. Only Egg is written on the board outside. We don't have much room for people to stand around, so it’s usually quick. We deal with eggs all day, every day. You get used to the smell and the crates stacked up. The street outside is always busy with traffic going toward the station. We start very early because that’s when the deliveries come in. We’re just regular folks running a small business. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. We just talk to the people who walk in. The shop is simple. A few shelves, a counter, and lots of crates. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh with the regulars. Chakala is a crowded place, but Sattadhar Nagar is where we’ve settled. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. We don't try to act like a big company. We’re just Only Egg. If the light bulb flickers, we just wait a bit or hit the switch again. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is counted and ready for the customers. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, but it keeps us fit. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s not fancy, but it is our place. We are here every day from the morning.
