On Vacation Now

Our office, On Vacation Now, is tucked away in 104, Basha Manor. This is in the Nayanagar area of Miraroad East, out in Thane. The pin code is 401107 if you’re looking at a map. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than the middle of the city. Basha Manor is a standard building, and we’ve made our space on the first floor comfortable enough for a full day's work. We spend a lot of time looking at travel schedules and talking to people about where they want to go. It’s mostly just us and our computers in here. The morning sun hits the windows quite strongly, so we usually keep the curtains half-drawn. There’s a lot of local foot traffic in Nayanagar, and we sometimes hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small team trying to keep things running smoothly from our corner of Mira Road. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's dead quiet. We just take it as it comes. We have a small water cooler in the corner and a stack of brochures that we need to sort through one of these days. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town. We don't have any fancy mission statements; we just show up and do the work. It’s just how we spend our days here.
