Omega Engineering Works

Omega Engineering Works is based at 34-36 in the Navketan Industrial Estate. To get to us, you have to find your way down Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. Anyone who lives in Mumbai knows that Andheri East is a very busy place, especially with all the traffic heading towards the airport or the highway. The industrial estate is a bit of a sanctuary from the main road, though it’s still full of activity. We have a few units that we use for our daily operations. It’s an older building, which gives it a bit of character. We don’t have any fancy decorations or modern art in our space at Omega Engineering Works. Instead, we have tools, workbenches, and whatever materials we are using at the time. The air often smells like grease or metal, which is pretty common for an engineering workshop. We have a small team, and we’ve been working together at this location for many years. We know the other shop owners in the Navketan estate, and there’s a good sense of community among us. If we need something, we usually just walk over to the next unit and ask. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent being hands-on. It’s a noisy and often hot place to work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
