Om Shankar Tour Travel

Our office is A25 in the Gopalakrishna Welfare Society. We are located in Kandivali East, right across the road from Gundecha School. Because we’re so close to the school, the mornings and afternoons are always loud with kids and buses, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We help people plan their trips, whether they need a car for a day or a longer tour somewhere far away. It’s a local business, so we mostly see people from the nearby societies who want to go on vacation. We’ve got a couple of computers where we look up flights and train seats, and a wooden desk where we handle the cash and receipts. It’s not a huge operation, but we stay busy throughout the year. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions or to see if we have any brochures for a nice holiday. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones talking to drivers and making sure everyone is where they should be at the right time. The office is a bit small, so things can feel a little cramped when a whole family comes in at once to book a trip. We’ve lived in this part of Kandivali for a long time, so we know all the shortcuts and the best times to travel to avoid the worst traffic. We just try to be helpful and get people to their destinations without too much trouble or delay.
