Om Sai Paints

Om Sai Paints is located right in Shop 1 of the first chawl at Sardar Industrial Estate. If you know the area in Ghatkopar West, we are just opposite the big Godrej furniture showroom which makes us pretty easy to find even when the traffic is bad. Most days it is quite busy around here with trucks and people moving things in and out of the estate. The shop is not very big but we have managed to fit a lot of paint cans on the shelves from the floor all the way to the ceiling. You can usually find me or one of the boys behind the counter mixing colors or looking through those heavy shade cards for someone. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the road and the industrial units but we try to keep the place tidy enough. We deal with a lot of local painters who come in early in the morning to pick up brushes and buckets for their daily jobs. Sometimes homeowners stop by because they saw our sign while going to the furniture store across the way. We do not have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular paint shop where we talk about what kind of finish works on different walls or how many liters you might need for a room. It stays pretty warm in the afternoons so we keep the fan going full speed. We have been here a good while now.
