We have been running Om Flowers for a good while now from our spot at 10 Dadar West. If you know the area near Chuda Man Talim, you know it gets pretty crowded and loud, especially in the mornings when all the fresh stock comes in. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where we keep the buckets full and try to keep everything cool. My hands usually smell like stems and dirt by noon, but that is just how it goes when you work with plants every day. We spend most of our time trimming leaves or helping neighbors who just want a few loose petals for their morning prayers. Dadar is a busy place and people are always in a rush, so we try to move fast. There are days when the floor is a bit messy with discarded leaves and water spills, but we clean up when there is a quiet moment. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us here in the shop, dealing with the local suppliers and making sure the flowers don't wilt in the heat. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and it gets a bit stressful, but usually, things work out fine. We like being part of this neighborhood. People stop by to chat even when they aren't buying anything, and that makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. We just do our work and go home.
