Mumbai is a city that never really lets you rest, and being based here means we are always on the move. Oberoi Multimedia has been part of this landscape for a good stretch of time. We don't have a long street address listed in our records because we are just known to be in Mumbai. Working in multimedia sounds like it should be all bright lights and excitement, but mostly it's just us in a room with a lot of monitors. We spend a lot of time looking at pixels and checking audio levels. The office is a bit of a jumble of cables and hard drives. We try to keep things organized, but when you're in the middle of a big project, things tend to get a bit chaotic. We usually start the day with a strong cup of chai from the vendor downstairs. It’s what keeps us going through the afternoon slump. The noise of the Mumbai traffic is like background music to our work. We’ve grown so used to it that we barely notice the constant horns anymore. We aren't a big corporate giant with thousands of employees. We are a smaller crew that knows how to handle the tech. Sometimes we stay late because the rendering takes longer than we expected. It’s not a fancy nine-to-five kind of place. We just stay until the job is finished. That's how it’s always been for us. No big speeches about our values, just work.
