Oasis Desserts

You can find us at Phase-3A in SAS Nagar, right along the Chappercheri P-M Road in Santacruz West. This location is a bit different from some of the busier markets, but we like it that way. We focus on desserts here, so the shop usually smells like sugar and cream. It is a simple setup with a few display cases and a small area for us to work in the back. Running a place like this in Santacruz involves a lot of daily chores. We have to keep the refrigeration units running perfectly so nothing melts or goes bad in the heat. The road outside can get a bit loud with the bikes and cars passing by, but inside it is usually quite calm. We spend our mornings checking the stock and wiping down the tables. It is not a fancy operation, just a local spot for people who want something sweet after their dinner or while they are out for a walk. We do not put much effort into being trendy. We just use the ingredients we have and try to keep things consistent. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the P-M Road. Other times, we have three or four people waiting at once. We have been here for a while and the neighbors seem to know where to find us when they need a treat. It is just a normal part of the local community and we stay busy.
