You can find us at Gala No 12 in the M K Compound, which is right in the middle of the hustle of Andheri East. We are situated right opposite the Anand Bhavan Hotel, so if you are hungry after visiting us, there is always somewhere good to eat. Oaqas Machine Tools is a small but busy operation. The space is packed with different machine parts and tools that we supply to various workshops around Mumbai. It’s often a bit of a struggle to keep everything tidy because there is always something new arriving or something being packed for a client. The traffic in Andheri is legendary, so we spend a fair amount of time coordinating deliveries and making sure the drivers know the best routes to take. Inside the gala, it’s mostly just us and the sound of the ceiling fan. We don't have any corporate branding or a fancy storefront. It’s just a metal shutter and a lot of hardware inside. Sometimes the monsoon makes things a bit difficult with the dampness, but we keep everything covered and protected. Most of our customers are local mechanics or small factory owners who need parts quickly. We try to be helpful and just give them what they are looking for without any fuss. It is a modest business in a very busy part of the city, and we just focus on the daily tasks.
