Oak

We have been at Arun Chambers on Tardeo Road for quite a while now. Most of our mornings start with the usual Tardeo traffic crawl, which anyone from this part of Mumbai knows way too well. The office is located in room 31. It is not a very huge place, but it works perfectly fine for what we do here at Oak. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks that pile up. Sometimes we step out for a quick tea or some snacks from the small stalls nearby when the afternoon slump hits. Being in South Mumbai means things are always busy right outside our windows. We see the same faces every day, from the delivery guys to the other folks working in the same building. It is just a regular, honest workspace. We do not have fancy lounges or anything like that. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of paper everywhere. People usually find us because they need something specific done and they know we are right here in the middle of the city. We do not spend much time on decorations or trying to look stylish. The walls are a bit plain and maybe need a new coat of paint, but they have seen a lot of hard work over the years. It is a practical setup for us. When the workday finally ends, we are usually rushing out to catch the train or beat the worst of the evening rush. That is the story of our day-to-day life here.
