We are Nyka Events and we operate out of Mumbai. Our office is in the 400 027 area, which is a pretty central part of Maharashtra. We don't spend a whole lot of time sitting in the office, though. If we are doing our jobs right, we are usually out at some venue, arguing with decorators or checking the sound system for the hundredth time. Event planning is mostly just making sure a thousand small things don't go wrong at the same moment. We’ve been doing this for several years now. It started small, and we just kept going. We don't have any of those fancy slogans or promises. We just try to make sure the event happens and everyone goes home happy. The Mumbai traffic is our biggest enemy, honestly. Trying to get a truck full of equipment across the city on time is enough to give anyone grey hairs. Our team is just a few dedicated people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We've seen it all, from rained-out outdoor parties to weddings where the cake didn't show up. We just find a way to fix it. It’s not a polished business. It’s messy and loud and exhausting, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big marketing team, we just rely on people remembering we did a good job last time. That is enough for us to keep the doors open.
