Niti Travels

We are located right in Flat 401 of the Swati Co Operative building. Being in Borivali West means it's always hectic outside, but once you come up to the fourth floor, it’s a bit quieter. We are quite close to Shanti Ashram, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The office is basically a converted flat, so it feels a bit like a home. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are overflowing with old travel brochures and ticket printouts. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so you might have to walk the stairs, which isn't great in the summer heat. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or looking at bus schedules. It gets pretty loud when two or three people are talking to customers at once. There’s a small balcony where we keep some plants, but they’re mostly dusty from the road outside. We don’t have any big neon signs or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. Borivali is a massive place and being tucked away in a residential building makes the work feel more personal. We just sit here, book the trips, and handle the paperwork as it comes in. There is an old clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when the office is silent, which doesn't happen very often. We also have a small fridge in the corner for cold water because the heat can be quite brutal.
