Nirav Engineering Works

We are located in Building Number 5 over at the Akshay Mittal Industrial Estate. If you’re familiar with Andheri East, you know Sir M.V. Road gets absolutely packed during rush hour. Our unit is C-194/195. It’s an old school engineering shop vibe here. We have the machines running most of the day, so there’s always that smell of oil and metal in the air. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the hum of the machines. Most of the guys have been with Nirav Engineering for years. We know the neighbors and the guys who deliver the raw materials. It’s a tight space, typical for Mumbai, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room to move. There’s no big sign outside, just the number on the door. We handle a lot of different metal jobs and repairs. Sometimes a customer comes in with a drawing on a piece of paper, and we figure it out from there. It’s honest work. Lunch is usually a quick break at the local stall nearby or someone brings a dabba. When the monsoon hits, the road outside gets messy, but we just keep the shutters down and keep working. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We’re just a bunch of people who know how to work with tools and don't care much for fancy offices. We stay busy with the lathe and the drills all day long.
