We are based out of Angul in Odisha. Our main address is in Khalari, Gadpadasahi. It is a local operation here at Niche Event & Promotions. We do exactly what the name suggests. We help set up events and do promotions for people and businesses all around the district. It is a lot of physical work, moving heavy tents, setting up stages, and talking to people all day long. We aren't a big city agency with fancy, air-conditioned offices. We operate out of a simple space and spend most of our time out on the road. Odisha can get very hot, so the outdoor work is definitely tough sometimes. We have a small crew of guys who are really good at fixing things on the fly. You have to be that way when you are doing events. Things almost never go exactly as they were planned. We don't have a big website or do much advertising for ourselves. Most of our work comes from people who saw what we did for their neighbor or a local shop in town. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We use local suppliers whenever we can and try to keep things simple for everyone involved. We aren't trying to be world-famous or anything. We just want to make sure the local wedding or the store opening goes off without a hitch. It is honest work and we enjoy seeing the community come together. It keeps us going every day.
