Newstar Tours & Travels is based in Vansh Arcade, which is in Sector 19 of Kamothe. Our shop is number 5. Being in Navi Mumbai is a bit different from being in the heart of the city; the pace is just a little more relaxed. We are close to the Sai Baba Mandir, so it’s a peaceful spot in a way. The arcade has a few other businesses, and we’ve become part of the local scene here. Our office is a straightforward shop where we’ve set up our computers and desks. There’s not a lot of extra space, but it’s enough for us to handle tour bookings and travel plans. We spend most of our time looking at schedules and trying to find the right options for people. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. People from the nearby apartments walk over when they're thinking about a holiday. We don’t wear uniforms or have a fancy reception. We just sit at our desks and deal with the paperwork. The office can get a bit quiet in the mornings, but things usually pick up later. We have a small fan to deal with the heat. It’s just a regular local travel shop. We focus on getting the bookings right and making sure everyone has their tickets and info. We like the quiet life out here in Kamothe.
