You can find New Maharashtra Chana Bhandar over in Goregaon West. We are in Shop No 4 at Srimal House, which is right next to Chander Nagar and near the Statio. It's a busy spot because of the trains. People are always rushing past. We open up early and stay late most days. The shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into it. Being near the Statio means there is always noise. You hear the announcements and the tracks all day long. Srimal House has been there for years, and we’ve been in Shop No 4 for a long time too. We focus on the chana and other things we keep in stock. It gets dusty sometimes with all the traffic outside, so we are always cleaning. We don't do any big ads or anything. People just stop by on their way home from work. Sometimes we run out of things, and that’s just how it goes. Chander Nagar is a nice area to be next to. We know the other shop owners nearby. We help each other out when we can. It’s a basic shop, nothing more. We just want to get through the day and make sure the shop is ready for tomorrow. Goregaon West is our home, and we like it that way. Most days are long, but we just keep at it because it is what we do.
