If you are looking for us, we are on the first floor of building number 110/112. We are situated on the Aundhgaon Main Road, which is quite close to the GPO in the Fort area. It is a busy place to be, but it makes it easy for people to drop in when they are doing other errands nearby. We focus on helping people who want to visit Nepal. There is a lot to know about the permits, the mountain treks, and the different ways to get across the border, so we try to provide all that information in one place. We aren't a big government office, just a small center where we keep maps and updated info on the best times to travel. People come in with a lot of questions about the weather or which buses to take from the border towns. We try to be as helpful as we can, though sometimes the information from the ground takes a bit of time to reach us. It is just a few of us here who really know the region well. We have some old posters on the walls and plenty of brochures for people to take home and read. It’s a quiet enough office usually, unless it’s the peak trekking season, then we get quite a lot of visitors all at once. We just want to make sure people have a realistic idea of what to expect when they go.
