Neetu Engineering Works

Neetu Engineering Works is located in the Hakuba Industrial Estate, specifically in Gala Number 2 which is actually underground. To find us, you have to head down I B Patel Road in Goregaon East. Working in an underground gala has its own vibe, away from the heat and the direct noise of the main road. It gets a bit loud down here sometimes with the machines going, but that is just part of the engineering life. We have got our tools laid out and the floor is usually covered in some bits of metal or grease, which is how a real workshop should look. Goregaon East is a busy hub for this kind of work, and being in Hakuba means we are surrounded by other people making things. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit. Usually, you will find us in our work clothes, probably fixing something or checking a measurement. The air down here stays a bit cooler because we are below ground level, which is nice during the Mumbai summers. It is a tight-knit crew here. We have known the regulars on I B Patel Road for years. We do not spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the machines and making sure the engineering side of things is handled. It is a honest way to spend the day, working with our hands in a spot that feels like our own little world under the street.
