It’s a heavy-duty kind of place, which makes sense because rolling shutters aren't exactly light work. The noise of metal being cut and welded is pretty much the soundtrack to our days. We’ve been in Chembur for a good stretch now, and we’ve seen the highway get bigger and busier every year. The workshop is always full of materials, and there’s usually someone moving a truck in or out of the yard. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep at it. We aren't the type to have a polished front desk or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us covered in a bit of shop grease or dust, ready to talk about whatever shutter job needs doing. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. The estate has a lot of businesses like ours, so there’s always a sense of people just getting on with their trades. We know our way around the machinery and the materials we use every day. Sometimes the dust from the construction nearby gets everywhere, but we've gotten used to wiping down the benches every morning. It’s just part of being in this industrial area. We don’t do much fancy talk; we just build things that are meant to last and keep things secure.
