Nav Chetan Industries

Our workshop is located in the Siddhi Vinayak Industrial Estate over in Ghatkopar West. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and big trucks moving around outside. Nav Chetan Industries has been operating out of this space for a good bit now. We do a lot of manufacturing work here, mostly small parts and various industrial supplies that other businesses need for their own production lines. The floor is usually covered in some dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we try to sweep it at the end of the shift. It’s just part of the job. We have a few machines running most of the day and it gets quite loud, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We aren't some big corporate entity with a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk or working on a machine. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. We know most of the other guys working in the estate. We often trade tools or help each other out when someone’s short-staffed or has a machine breakdown. It’s a decent place to work if you don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty. We handle the orders as they come in.
