Nav Bharat Motor Mfg. Company is located at 303, inside the Kapdia Industrial Estate 3. We are right in the Chakala area, off the Andheri Kurla Road in Andheri East. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai. There is always traffic, and the noise from the road never really stops. Our workshop is on the third floor, so we have to haul everything up and down. It’s a bit of a workout every day. We manufacture motors here. It’s greasy work, and the smell of oil is pretty much stuck in the walls by now. We’ve got some old machines and some newer ones too. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we put things. Most of the guys have been working here for years. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation or anything. We just make motors and try to do it right. The estate itself is a bit run down, but it’s a good community of workers. You’ll find us there from Monday to Saturday, usually late into the evening. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come visit, you'll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in some grime. That’s just the nature of the job. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Being in Andher (E) means we are never far from anything, though getting through the traffic is always a chore.
