National Dairy

Our shop is at A/2, Nanddham in the Bangur Nagar area of Goregaon West. It’s a familiar spot for the people who live around here. National Dairy has been a part of this neighborhood's morning routine for a long time. The day starts while most people are still sleeping, with the crates being unloaded and the cold air coming off the milk bags. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It is just a practical space with large refrigerators and a counter that has seen a lot of use. We know most of our customers by name, and we know exactly what they want before they even ask. It is a bit of a squeeze when everyone stops by at once before work, but we manage to keep the line moving. We don't do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. Sometimes the fridge acts up or the delivery truck is late because of the Mumbai traffic, but we always find a way to get things sorted. We aren't some big corporation; we are just a local dairy trying to do a decent job every day. The floors get mopped a dozen times a day and the light flickers a bit in the back, but it is our place and we take care of it as best as we can. It is just life in Goregaon, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
