Naman Travels

Naman Travels is located on the ground floor of the Ashoka Shopping Centre at 62 Fort. This part of Mumbai is always full of energy, with people rushing to work and tourists wandering around the old buildings. Our office is right there on the street level, so we see everyone passing by. It is a small space, mostly taken up by a couple of desks, some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and a wall covered in calendars and maps. We spend our time booking tickets, arranging cars, and figuring out travel routes for people. The shopping centre itself has been around for a long time, so it has that old-school Bombay feel to it. It can be a bit dark inside the building, but our spot near the entrance gets some natural light. We usually have a radio playing quietly in the background. The smell of street food from the vendors outside often drifts in, which makes us hungry before lunch time even arrives. It is a straightforward business where we talk to customers face-to-face or handle bookings over the old landline phone. We do not have a website that does everything automatically; we prefer talking to people and sorting out their plans manually. It gets busy during the holiday seasons, and the office ends up filled with brochures and printed itineraries. We have been here for years, and most of our regular clients just drop in for a chat while they are in the Fort area.
