Nalam General Stores

Nalam General Stores is located at 418 in the Byraveshwara Industrial Estate in Charkop. It is a bit of an interesting spot because we are surrounded by workshops and small factories. Most of our customers are the people who work in the industrial estate or live nearby. They come in for things like tea, soap, snacks, or maybe some basic hardware items if they are in a pinch. It’s not a quiet place because of all the machines nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. The shop itself is just a regular room filled with shelves. We don't spend money on decorations or anything like that. We just make sure the stock is there when someone needs it. Charkop is a busy area, and the industrial estate stays active all day long. We open up early because the workers start their shifts then, and we stay open until most of them go home. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a fancy logo. We just sit here, talk to the regulars, and sell them what they need. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, but we just work around it. It’s a practical kind of place for practical people. If you are ever down at Byraveshwara, you’ll see us right there at 418. Just a simple shop for the working crowd that keeps things moving.
