Nainmal Premchand Jain General Stores

We are located in Sewri 6, and the name on the board is Nainmal Premchand Jain General Stores. It’s one of those shops where you can find a bit of everything, from soap and biscuits to sacks of flour and lentils. We’ve been running this place for a long time, and it’s become a bit of a habit for us now. The shelves are packed with all the daily essentials people in the neighborhood need. Every morning starts with us opening the shutters and sweeping the front. Then the milk and bread deliveries come in, and the day really begins. It’s a lot of standing around and chatting with the neighbors while we weigh out their sugar or tea leaves. We don't have any fancy scanners or high-tech systems; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we try to keep the products clean. We know most of our customers by their first names and what they usually buy on a Tuesday. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one for the local community. We just try to keep the prices decent and the stock full. If we don’t have something, we usually try to get it for you by the next week. It’s just how we’ve always done things here in Sewri, and we like it that way.
