Nagarik Electric Hardware Store

Our shop is number 9 in the Blue Galaxy 2 building on Chatrapati Shivaji Road. We are right opposite Vidya Mandir School in Dahisar East. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping their kids off. Nagarik Electric Hardware Store is basically a wall of small drawers and boxes. We have everything from light bulbs to heavy-duty switches and all sorts of hardware tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside. If you ask for a specific screw, we might have to climb a ladder to find it. We don't have a fancy computerized system to track every single item. A lot of it is just knowing which shelf holds what. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of space, right up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time talking to local electricians and people from the neighborhood who are trying to fix something at home. We give them what they need and maybe a bit of advice if they ask for it. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and moving heavy metal items around. The dust from the road comes in through the front, so we are always cleaning the glass counters. It’s just a normal hardware store. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just stay open, keep the stock full, and help the people who walk through the door.
