Mumbai Powai F N P is located at 62 on the ground floor of Hiranandani Garden, right near the Machohalli Gate on Magadi Main. Powai has changed a lot over the years and it’s very busy now with all the offices and apartments. Being near the gate is good for us because there is always a lot of movement. The shop is on the ground floor, which helps when we have to move heavy crates of flowers in and out every morning. It involves more heavy lifting than most people realize. We start our day when it’s still quiet outside to get everything ready before the rush begins. Hiranandani is a fancy area, but our shop is just a regular place where we work. We have buckets of water everywhere and there are always green leaves on the floor. We try to keep it clean, but it’s a constant battle. The staff here are just local people who know the area well. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s mostly about making sure the flowers stay fresh and the deliveries get to the right buildings on time. The traffic in Powai can be really bad, so we are always keeping an eye on the clock. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, but we always manage to get through it. It’s just honest, everyday work in a busy part of town.
