This office is over in Kharghar, specifically in Shiv Shankar Tower at Sector 3. It’s a bit of a trek from the actual airport terminals, but this is where a lot of the back-office work happens for the Mumbai International Airport operations. You wouldn't think it, but managing an airport involves a mountain of paperwork and planning that doesn't always happen at the gate. We have people here dealing with logistics, some coordination stuff, and just general administration for the company. The building is one of those tall ones in Navi Mumbai that all look a bit similar from the outside. We spend our days in front of screens or in meetings discussing how things are running over in the main hubs. It’s not the most glamorous side of the aviation world, but someone has to do the data part. The area around Belpada is usually quite busy with traffic and people heading to work in the mornings. We’ve got a view of the other towers and the streets below. It gets pretty quiet in the evenings once everyone finishes their shift and heads home. We keep things pretty simple in this unit. There’s a lot of coffee drinking and sorting through files to keep everything moving. It’s a long way from the runways and the planes, but the work we do connects back to everything happening over there. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and most people in the building know us.
