Mukesh Engineering Works

Mukesh Engineering Works is located in Goregaon East. We are in the M K Industrial Estate, specifically Gala No G 34. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machines and welding. We do a lot of metal work and repairs for various machines. It’s a dusty place. We have lathes and welding equipment. I started this workshop with a friend. We take on whatever jobs come our way. Sometimes it’s a small bracket that needs fixing, other times it’s a big piece of equipment. We don't have an office staff. When the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands and answers it. The Sahar area is always busy with trucks. It can be hard to park near our gala. We work long hours, often late into the night if a customer has an emergency. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a few guys who know how to work with steel. We don't have a fancy sign. Just the name painted on the door. It’s honest work. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks down, and we have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just engineering. We’ve been in this estate for years. People know if they need something fabricated, they can come to us. We just keep our heads down and do the job. We also do some drilling and cutting work if people bring their own materials. It’s a noisy life but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We try to be helpful.
