Mukesh Budhwani

Mukesh Budhwani operates out of Shanti Villa, specifically Flat 14 on the sixth floor. Being in Bandra West, especially near Pali Naka, means things are always moving fast outside our windows. The area around Purple Haze is usually packed with people and cars, but inside the flat, it is mostly just us focusing on the day's tasks. It is not a huge office, just a lived-in space where we have set up our desks and computers. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, and we have been here long enough that the lift operator knows us by name. We do not have a big lobby or a sign that lights up. Usually, people just knock on the door and walk into the main room. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at documents. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. We try to keep things simple and honest. There is no dress code or fancy meetings. If someone needs something, they just ask. Lunch is often something picked up from one of the stalls nearby or brought from home in a steel dabba. It is a practical way to run things, and it keeps us grounded in the local neighborhood. We are just regular people doing our jobs in a busy part of Mumbai.
