We are located over in Mulund East, specifically in the Mhada Colony at Sai Sahara. It’s a residential area, so it feels very much like a local neighborhood spot. The office is at number 17. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of project files from over the years. Being in Sec No-22 means we see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. We’ve been here at kalpaltaru architect for a while, just handling whatever comes through the door. Usually, it’s a lot of residential work because of where we are situated in Mumbai. The commute for the staff isn't too bad, and we like being close to the railway station. Most mornings start with clearing off the tables from whatever we left there the night before. There is always a lot of drawing to do. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to answer the phones with a script. If you call, you probably just get one of us while we're in the middle of a drawing. Things can get a bit hectic when a deadline is coming up, but that’s just how this business works. We keep our tools handy and try to stay organized, even if the shelves are overflowing with old blueprints. It’s a practical office for people who just want their plans finished.
