Morya Paints

We are located over in the Hanuman Industrial Estate in Goregaon West. If you know G D Ambekar Road, you probably know how busy it gets with all the trucks and people moving around. Our shop, Morya Paints, is right in the middle of all that activity. It is not a very big place, but we have crammed it full of paint tins and those big mixing sticks. Most days, I have some kind of color on my clothes or under my fingernails because things just get messy when you are moving heavy buckets around. The walls here are covered in different smears where we’ve tried out colors to show people. It is pretty noisy outside because of the workshops nearby, but we just keep our heads down and do the work. Customers come in looking for a specific white or maybe something for their kitchen, and we just go find it in the stacks. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit jumbled, but we usually know where everything is. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us as the place with the stacks of cans near the entrance of the estate. It is just a regular shop where we help people get what they need for their walls. No fancy lights or anything like that, just plenty of paint and some brushes. We just get on with it every day.
