People hear the name Morgan Stanley Advantage Service and they probably think of some huge glass skyscraper with thousands of people in suits. Actually, we are just a bunch of regular people sitting at our computers all day long. The address part of our record is a bit empty, but we are definitely here working. The office is pretty much what you would expect. There are rows of desks, a small pantry that always smells like coffee, and some filing cabinets that nobody has opened in years. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and checking numbers. It isn't the most exciting work in the world, but it keeps us busy. Some days the internet is slow and we all just sit around talking about what we are going to eat for lunch. We usually order from the place around the corner because they deliver fast. The air conditioning is always freezing, so most of us keep a sweater at our desk even when it is boiling outside. It is funny how that works. We don't really do anything flashy. We just come in, do the tasks that are assigned to us, and head home to our families. It’s a living. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big project, but mostly we try to get out on time. The people here are nice enough and we help each other out when the workload gets too heavy.
