Monochrome Media

Monochrome Media is over on Lamington Road in Grant Road. We are in Saraswati Bhawan on the second floor, specifically Room No 9. If you’ve ever been to Lamington Road, you know it’s the place for electronics and it’s always packed. There are people everywhere and the noise from D B Marg never really stops. Our room is small but it's where all the work happens. We are right near Minerva Cinema, which is an old landmark. The building we are in is also quite old. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint and the stairs are a bit steep. We don't spend money on making the office look like a magazine shoot because that’s not what we are about. We just need our equipment and a place to sit. Some days it’s very quiet inside while we focus on our media work, and other days everyone is talking at once. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have guests, but we make it work. Living and working in South Mumbai has its own rhythm. You get used to the crowds and the speed of things. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our media stuff and stay in the heart of the city where everything is happening. It’s a simple setup for a hard-working group of people who just want to get their tasks finished and go home. That is really all there is to it.
