Monginis Foods Pvt. Ltd has its base here in Mumbai, in the 400 054 area. Most people know the name because of the cakes, but for us, it is just our daily workplace. We are located in Santacruz West. It is a pretty active part of the city. Every morning, there is a lot of activity with trucks coming in and out and people getting things ready for the day. The air around the office often smells like sugar and baked bread, which is probably the best part of working here. We don't have a very fancy office setup. It is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets filled with records. We have a lot of people working in the back and in the offices to make sure everything gets to the shops on time. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes it gets a bit stressful when there is a big holiday and everyone wants a cake at the same time. We just deal with the orders as they come. No one here is trying to be a corporate executive; we are just workers who have been doing this for a long time. We know the streets around 400 054 very well. It is just a regular food business where we show up, do our shift, and make sure things are moving along. We don't need a mission statement.
