MOHSIN DEVJI BUILDERS PRIVATE LIMITED operates out of a space near the Reay Road railway station. To be exact, we are in Unit 18C on the first floor of Plot 14, in Nanda Dham on K R Mhatre Marg. This part of Mumbai has a very specific feel to it, being so close to the tracks and the old industrial areas. You can hear the trains going by all day long, which just becomes background noise after a while. We are builders, so our work involves a lot of coordination with laborers and suppliers. Our office isn't very large, but it serves its purpose for meeting with people and keeping our records straight. Being near the station is actually quite handy for our staff and anyone coming to see us. The building itself, Nanda Dham, is a regular sort of place where several businesses operate. We spend our time managing different construction sites across the city from this central point. There’s always some issue with a delivery or a deadline that needs sorting out. It’s a lot of phone calls and ledger books. We don't spend much time making the place look fancy because we are usually too busy with the actual building work. It’s a gritty, hard-working part of town and our business fits right into that atmosphere. We just focus on getting the structures up and dealing with the everyday challenges of Mumbai construction.
