Modi Tours

Modi Tours is our little shop located at number 20 in Jethwa Nagar. We are right on the V L road in Kandivali West. One of the best things about where we are is being so close to the railway station. You can hear the trains arriving and departing if you listen closely, and it means there are always people walking past the window on their way to catch a commute. Jethwa Nagar is a decent place to be based. It’s got that old neighborhood feel to it, even though the city is changing so fast. Our shop isn't very big, but we have enough room for a couple of chairs and our main desk. We spend most of our time talking to people who walk in off the street. It’s a simple setup. We don't believe in having a lot of corporate polish; we just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the rain leaks near the front door during a heavy storm, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We know the neighbors, the guy who sells tea, and the people at the station. It feels good to be a part of the local scenery here in Kandivali. We’ve been in this same spot for years, and most of our customers are just people from the nearby blocks who know us by name. It is a humble place but we like it here.
