We’ve been here at Shop No 2 in the Navjevan Building for quite a while now. It's right in the Malad West area, specifically near Raviwar Peth. Most of our mornings start very early, usually well before the sun is even up properly, because that is when the fresh milk arrives at our door. People tend to stop by on their way to work or just to grab something quick for their family breakfast. It gets pretty busy around the counter during those morning hours. We mostly just focus on getting the heavy crates moved and making sure everything stays cold in the back. The building itself is a bit older, but it works perfectly fine for what we do every day. Sometimes the traffic outside on the road gets a bit loud, especially with all the other small shops nearby. We don’t have any fancy signs or big marketing displays. It's just a regular dairy place where the floor is usually a bit wet from the ice bags we use. My staff and I spend a lot of time checking the seals on the containers and organizing the fridge space so everything fits. It's not really glamorous work, but it’s what we do. Malad has changed a lot since we first set up our shop here. There are more people, more cars, and definitely more noise. But the routine stays exactly the same for us. We open the shutters, count the stock, and talk to the regulars who come in every morning. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying.
