Modern Arch Infrastructure Private Limited is based in Chembur, specifically in Shrikant Chambers on the Sion Trombay Road. Room 314. It’s a busy building in a busy part of Mumbai. We’ve been working out of this office for a good while now. If you look out the window, you see the constant flow of traffic heading towards the city or out towards the suburbs. It’s a good spot for us because we can get to our project sites fairly easily, even if the traffic is a bit much. We do a lot of infrastructure work, mostly focused on the structural side of things. We aren't really the type to wear suits and ties every day. Mostly it's jeans and work boots because we are usually heading to a site right after our morning meetings. The office is full of blue-prints and half-finished cups of chai. We’ve got a small crew but everyone knows their job. We don’t spend money on fancy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who know what we’re capable of doing. We deal with the typical Mumbai hurdles like space constraints, monsoon delays, and lots of permits. It’s just part of the job. We try to keep things simple and avoid the usual corporate nonsense. We just want to build stuff that stays standing and does what it’s supposed to do for the city. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped, but we make it work somehow. It’s just how things are.
